My clients animal hospital is seeking experienced associate veterinarians, new graduates, and urgent care veterinarians to join their team in Lake Charles, LA. This well-established small animal practice offers an exceptional environment for learning and professional growth.

The hospital has been providing top-notch small animal veterinary care since 1959. The hospital is known for its commitment to the highest standards of veterinary medicine and a supportive, mentorship-focused environment. The practice is fully equipped with advanced diagnostic and treatment tools, including:

• Complete in-house CBC/Chem, urinalysis, and PT/PTT

• Digital dental radiography and whole body radiography

• Full surgery suites and dental suites

• Ultrasound, laser, endoscopy, abdominal ultrasounds, soft tissue surgeries, new scope,      echoes

• In-house blood bank and ultrasound suite

• Access to a boarded surgeon and specialists

They ride themselves on its strong mentorship culture, supporting both new graduates and experienced veterinarians. The team consists of nine doctors and a robust support staff, with a 2.5 DVM to technician ratio.

Ideal Candidate:

• Holds a Louisiana Veterinary License in good standing

• Exhibits a passion for continual learning and teamwork

• Preferred schedule for GP position: 4 days a week, and every 3rd Saturday

• Preferred schedule for Urgent Care: Saturdays (no Sundays) Noon-8pm, with additional      GP days to account for full-time
