My clients animal hospital has been proudly serving Northeast Louisiana since 1978, providing compassionate veterinary care for both small and large animals. Position: Veterinarian (Mixed Animal and Small Animal positions available)

Responsibilities:

• Develop strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and preferences.

• Perform physical examinations and a range of diagnostic, medical, surgical, and dental procedures with a focus on minimizing patient stress and discomfort.

• Communicate examination findings and diagnoses to clients, offering treatment plans and educating on preventative healthcare.

• Maintain accurate medical records and assist colleagues in patient follow-up and management.

• Stay updated with advancements in veterinary medicine through Continuing Education meetings.

• Contribute to the development of the paraprofessional team to ensure exceptional care and client service.

• Act as a positive representative of the hospital within the professional community and to the public.

• Treat every client and patient with care and empathy, embodying the commitment to excellence and ethical standards.

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university.

• Licensure in good standing to practice in Louisiana.

• Professional demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly attitude.

• Ability to make decisions and communicate effectively within a team environment.

• Compassion and respect for clients and their pets.

• Proficiency in surgery is a plus.
