My client’s specialty centre is an AAHA-accredited, Fear Free Certified, full-service, 24/7 hospital dedicated to providing high-quality medical care to the companion animal population in Austin and the surrounding areas. They are looking for a full time ER Veterinarian to join their team. 


Their specialties include Emergency, Surgery, Internal Medicine, and Oncology (Medical). Additionally, they collaborate with an on-site Cardiologist two days a week and offer ultrasound services (with a sonographer and radiologist review) Monday through Saturday. 


In early 2025, the practice will relocate to a new, custom-built facility situated not far from the current location.


The Austin area is renowned for its vibrant lifestyle and rapid growth. Known as "The Live Music Capital of the World," Austin boasts a robust restaurant scene, multiple festivals, diverse outdoor activities, and water sports on local lakes and rivers. The region enjoys mild winters and warm summers with plenty of sunshine.


The only ER/Specialty hospital in the area that is Fear Free Certified. Fully equipped with a comprehensive range of diagnostic and treatment tools, including commercial-grade lab diagnostics, ECG, blood pressure monitoring, pulse oximetry, anesthesia, and telemetry. Advanced imaging and diagnostic capabilities, such as ultrasound (sonographer and radiologist review available Monday-Saturday), CT, fluoroscopy, digital radiography, rhinoscopy, endoscopy, bronchoscopy, and cystoscopy. 


A dedicated team of specialists in internal medicine, surgery, medical oncology, and a contracted cardiologist.


Supportive and helpful relief pool for ER staffing and coverage. An excellent support team to assist with complex cases and an experienced Medical Director and Manager committed to open communication and DVM wellness.
