Position: Experienced Veterinarian

Location: Minutes from Cedar Rapids, Iowa

My clients single-doctor practice, have been serving the community for over 25 years! The team comprises a full-time DVM, accompanied by 2 part-time doctors, and a cross-trained support staff including 1 licensed veterinary technician, 1 client service representative, and 4 technician assistants. They foster a positive, upbeat culture while excelling in customer service, medicine, and surgery, with a mission to ensure clients' fur-kids lead happy and healthy lives. 

Operating hours are 7:30 am - 5:00 pm Monday through Friday, with 2 Saturdays per month and Sundays off.

The Ideal Candidate:

Seeking an experienced, creative, and driven veterinarian to guide their talented team to the next level. Strong leadership and surgical skills are essential, as they conduct surgical/dental appointments 3 days a week, splitting into two teams to accomplish all procedures. The ideal candidate shares their passion for providing the highest level of care to patients and showing empathy for both the patient and the client at all times.

Facility Features:

The facility boasts an in-house surgery suite, in-house X-ray, updated dental unit with dental radiographs, heated surgical table, brand new surgical light, ultrasound, CBC/chemistry/heartworm machines, and a well-stocked pharmacy.
