My clients Veterinary Surgery and Imaging Center is a specialized veterinary practice in Northern New Jersey. They are seeking a Part-time Veterinarian to join their expanding team. This role is ideal for General Practice Veterinarians, Urgent Care Veterinarians, or Emergency Veterinarians looking for a balanced work-life schedule without on-call duties or weekend shifts

Responsibilities:

The primary responsibilities include performing physical exams on new and existing patients, coordinating patient care with the Radiation Oncologist, and ensuring the highest standard of care under the guidance of the Boarded Radiation Oncologist. While no oncology experience is required, a passion for oncology is preferred. The position requires proficiency in conducting comprehensive physical exams on canine and feline patients.

Hospital Hours:

Monday through Thursday, 8 am to 5:30 pm. Candidates can choose between a Monday & Tuesday, Monday & Thursday, or Wednesday & Thursday schedule.

Summary of Position:

The Veterinarian will oversee clinical care within the department, collaborating closely with other doctors at the practice and operating under the direction of a PetCure board-certified Medical Oncologist.

Work Experience & Education:

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine or equivalent degree

• Licensed Veterinarian in the local State or ability to become licensed

• 3-5 years of prior working experience in General Practice, Urgent Care, or Emergency Veterinary Medicine
