This esteemed animl hospital located in the vibrant community of Lakewood, CO, is actively seeking a dynamic and experienced Medical Director who thrives on practicing advanced medicine within a cohesive team. The Medical Director will play a pivotal role in establishing the direction and maintaining the high medical quality of the hospital.
Responsibilities:
The Medical Director will:
· Practice advanced medicine and provide leadership to a dedicated team.
· Establish and maintain the direction and medical quality of the hospital.
· Benefit from the support of experts in Operations, Marketing, Human Resources, Payroll, and more
· Share in the success of the hospital.
· Focus on diagnosis and treatment, surgery, medical records, and client relationships.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
· DVM or equivalent degree
· Current veterinary license in the state of Colorado
· Proven experience in advanced veterinary medicine
· Strong leadership and communication skills
· A commitment to maintaining high medical standards
Work Environment:
· A well-established support staff, including 3 certified technicians.
· Flexible scheduling with three or four 10-hour shifts per week.
· At least a 4-day weekend once a month (typically, of the associate’s choosing)
· No overnight shifts, Sundays, or holidays, with no on-call requirements.

Compensation:
Negotiable based on credentials and experience; annual salary starting at $120,000 - $135,000 plus stipends, production, and bonus potential.
