This Animal Hospital is seeking a highly experienced Veterinarian to lead their progressive, 3-doctor small animal practice as Medical Director.


This is an exceptional opportunity for a veterinarian to continue practicing medicine while shaping the direction and medical quality of the hospital, similar to an owner, but without the associated risks. The Medical Director will have the solid backing of experts in Operations, Marketing, Human Resources, Payroll, and more, to ensure success.


About the Facility:

This hospital features six exam rooms, an in-house laboratory and pharmacy, a sterile surgical suite, a dedicated treatment area with two dental wet tables, a hospitalization ward, and a grooming salon. This full-service veterinary hospital caters to dogs, cats, and small mammals, equipped with advanced technology to offer exceptional care for patients and outstanding service to clients. The hospital is proudly AAHA-accredited, meeting the highest standards of excellence in veterinary medicine. Additionally, it is a Gold Cat Friendly Practice and staffed by Fear Free Certified Professionals.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee medical quality and patient care

  • Establish and implement hospital policies and procedures

  • Provide mentorship and support to veterinarians and staff

  • Ensure compliance with AAHA standards and other regulatory guidelines

  • Maintain thorough and accurate medical records

Qualifications:

  • DVM or equivalent degree

  • Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Kansas
