My client with an Emergency and Specialty Center based in Maryland is currently seeking a Full-time Veterinary Medical Director to lead their dedicated team at their Emergency and Specialty Center is a well-established 24/7 emergency hospital.

This Emergency and Specialty Center is a well-established 24/7 emergency hospital, proudly serving the community for over 40 years. The facility is home to a remarkable team of both full and part-time veterinarians, and they take pride in the low staff turnover. They foster a collaborative and supportive work environment, equipped with cutting-edge resources, including in-house ultrasound, digital radiology, IDEXX, Heska lab equipment, Smart Flow, and CUBEX.

The Ideal Medical Director:

• Seeking a strong leader with a vision for building an exceptional medical team.

• A minimum of 3 years of practice experience is required.

• The ideal candidate should exhibit excellent interpersonal skills, possess strong written and oral communication abilities, and demonstrate sound medical reasoning skills along with strong medical ethics.

• Personable, friendly, approachable, and a team player with a client-centric approach to specialty care.
